Dr. Okechukwu Ezemeize is a digital health innovator who alongside Nnamdi Elenwoke (Co-founder) and Laminu Kaumi (Chairman) founded “Docotal healthcare foundation”.
According to Dr. Okechukwu Ezemeize, the sole reason for developing Docotal is to Make healthcare accessible to all and sundry, irrespective of social status.
Training and interest
Dr. Okechukwu Ezemeize is a Cuban-trained medical doctor with deep interest in digital health innovations, disrupting healthcare in Nigeria and Africa (hence the ‘Docotal mobile app’ was born).
“I have participated in many digital health and tech conferences with the aim of innovations and accessing the local and global markets.
As a medical doctor, I have also practiced in rural and urban communities in Cuba, Guatemala, and my own country Nigeria.
My love for adventures and travelling had led me to found the ‘Docotal health foundation’ that will provide free and quality healthcare to inner cities and villages where there’s no doctor. – Dr. Okechukwu Ezemeize”
